Hi friend! I love the format of your new blog! I have two things to say about dating vs. courtship:
1) Dating in our society is a bad system that prepares people for divorce and teaches people that it's in their best interest to have trial romantic relationships instead of looking to find who you will marry.
2) Courtship, though often championed as "Biblical," is in fact just the same things as dating - a trial romantic relationship - only with more rules.
My opinion on what you should do? Get to know the person you think you might want to marry. Spend time with them. Talk about your feelings for each other. Talk about the possibility of marriage when there's been enough time. Then figure out if you should marry or not, and do or don't, depending on what God says.
That's my two cents.

I guess I should have made that clear. Sorry... Whenever people ask me how old I have to be before I'm aloud to date I look at them funny, fling my hair back, and say: "Never!" Than they usually ask me to be serious and then I give them basically a little lecture about courtship and how I will go about it and how the world has made dating a stupid game...to cut this short...I basically tell them exactly what you said above.
